Youth (Un)Employment

The aim of the Youth (Un)Employment Networking Community is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in youth and employment to share their expertise, support others in the community, and advance their professional work.

  • To provide a forum in which to share research findings and experiences related to youth employment and associated life course constraints and transitions.
  • To disseminate these findings to broader academic, public, and practitioner forums.
  • To facilitate collaboration, both among and between researchers and practitioners.
  • To provide mentorship and support across members’ career stages.
  • To work together to influence service providers and policy makers to improve practice in supporting employment for young workers.
