Its focus is on the most honorable effort by employers of the 20th Century to wed the bottom line with the human treatment of employees and their families having serious mental problems. Starting with those suffering from alcoholism, the effort was broadened to cover a host of issues that could adversely affect an employees’ well-being and their ability to perform on the job.
