For over twenty years, the Work and Family Researchers Network has helped researchers, teachers, employers, policy advocates, and care providers with reliable information on the complex ties between jobs, caregiving, and social policy. You can help us move forward by becoming a member of WFRN.

This year is an especially important year for the WFRN, as we recently launched a new website and are expanding resources for stakeholders. We will be using membership revenues to engage advocacy, disseminate work-family scholarship, update existing information, generate new resources, and support the next generation of work-family scholars. Memberships will also facilitate planning for the next WFRN conference, scheduled for June 24-27, 2020 in New York City.

As a member, the WFRN will work to advance your interests. Some of the benefits of membership include:

  • Engagement with the international community of work-family scholars
  • Opportunity to present and collaborate at the biennial international WFRN conference
  • Discounted WFRN conference registration
  • Weekly news and events feed to your email
  • Opportunity to join and lead knowledge communities and special interest groups
  • Opportunity to lead WFRN initiatives, including new positions as content development leaders
  • Opportunity to list your name among experts on work-family research, increasing your visibility, prospects for media engagement, collaboration and consultation
  • In the year ahead, we anticipate customized research feeds sent directly to your email that will keep you informed of the most recent publications specific to your own personal interests

Perhaps the most important reason to become a member is the satisfaction of supporting quality employment, access to care, and sustainable social policies.

Please take a few moments and visit the WFRN’s new website and our membership page. We would be delighted to have you join our efforts in 2019 by joining our members!
