WFRN is pleased to share the publication of A Research Agenda for Flexible Working Arrangements, edited by Lilian M. de Menezes and Clare Kelliher and featuring contributions from WFRN members, including Ellen Kossek, Ariane Ollier-Malaterre, Wen Fan, Alexandra Beauregard, Heejung Chung, Matt Perringo.
The book provides a timely analysis of the conceptualisation of flexible working arrangements and the different contexts and ways in which such arrangements are adopted. Contributors each reflect on an aspect of flexible working, evaluating the implications of inherent and often paradoxical challenges faced by flexible workers. An overview of the historical development of flexible working arrangements and the research to date is also presented. By identifying gaps in knowledge and assessing emerging trends in working arrangements, the Research Agenda proposes areas where future research should be prioritised.
