The Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society has launched on its website the Expert Lab, a virtual space for meeting and connecting researchers, experts and activists from different areas related with time use promoted by the BTUI, in order to enable the scientific and political discussion, exchange and networking on time use. Through this interaction, BTUI aims at guiding future lines of research in the uses of time and to promote new public policies of time everywhere.

At the moment, the Expert Lab, which includes the biographies of the experts who are part of it, has more than 20 members from different fields and countries, such as Till Roenneberg, chronobiology expert and President of the World Federation of Societies. for Chronobiology (WFSC), Boróka Bó, Sociologist and demographer, specialist in social experience of the time,Carl Honoré, voice of the Slow Movement, Camila Kring, author on reconciling work and family life, Jonathan Israel Gershuny, economic sociologist, researcher of social and labor uses of time and creator of the Center for Time Use Research (CTUR) in the the University of Essex and Oxford, Analía Calero, economist from the UBA specialised in labour market,  Sara Berbel, General Manager of Barcelona City Council and expert in time and gender policies, or Fabián Mohedano, expert in time policies and promoter of the Initiative for Timetable Reform in Catalonia, among many others.
