As a sociologist of work and culture, I study how culture shapes inequality and uncertainty in work settings. My current research examines the unintended consequences of social policies aimed at reducing workplace inequalities. I have one stream of research that focuses on remote work, and gendered allocations of labour at work and in the home. My second research stream examines diversity initiatives in creative careers.
