I nestle my work-family interests within a larger consideration of how gender norms and expectations influence work-family experiences; this pertains to perceptions of work-family conflict and work-family boundary enactment as well as how the relationships between work variables relate to variables in the home and health domain are moderated by gender. Of particular note, I study masculinity contest culture, otherwise framed as the degree to which workplaces align with tenets of “toxic” masculinity.
