Johanna Lammi-Taskula is Head of the Children, Youth and Families Unit at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL). Her main research interests include reconciliation of work and family life, parental leave policies, well-being of children and families, and gender equality. Her aim is to analyse the intersectional mechanisms of social inequality in order to facilitate future policy design. She has authored or co-authored several publications on work-family reconciliation, parental leave and fathers in Finnish, English and Swedish. Dr. Lammi-Taskula has worked in several governmental committees and national working groups as an expert on family policy and gender equality in Finland. She is member of the International Network on Leave Policies & Research.
