Dr. Peters focuses on social inequalities between employees within the same work organization with a special focus on wage, employer-provided training, and work-life conflicts between immigrants and natives, as well as gender and parenthood differences. Furthermore, she explores how these inequalities are exacerbated or mitigated by organizational characteristics such as diversity policies, demographic composition, flexible work arrangements, or immediate supervisors.
