Dr. Yucel’s research focuses on work-family conflict and work-family enrichment. Using both national and international data, I examine the effects of work-family balance on well-being, job, and family-related outcomes. In addition, I currently explore the impact of flexible work arrangements on psychological distress and test further when and how flexible work arrangements might be beneficial and/or detrimental for workers and their implications for the workplace.
